Where the Locals Go: Bacolod's Best Kept Secrets
After my article 48 hours in Bacolod got published at Travelbook.ph and got good feedback, I realized that I haven’t been spending so much time writing about travel and food.. or just writing in general.  My dad, who is my partner in crime during these escapades, encouraged me to start writing more. Together with my family and boyfriend, we’re planning on going on food trips to local...

48 Hours in Bacolod →
Yay, my article is finally out! I’m glad my brother (who was initially offered the chance to write the article) gave the opportunity to be the first to write about Bacolod and Negros on Travelbook. Travel and food writing is one of my passions, and it’s been a while since I’ve written something like this. I’m really looking forward to creating more articles and travelling...

Comer.cio Bazaar Postponed
So, apparently I woke up to an announcement from the Comer.cio organizers and here it is:  Due to very much unfavorable weather conditions, with much regret, the organizers of COMER•CIO, have decided to postpone the food bazaar for everyone’s convenience and safety. The COMER•CIO Bazaar is rescheduled to December 27-29, 2011. Same venue, same time. We’re cooking up something bigger...

What's New: Artisan Piaya
I visited the Central Citywalk yesterday afternoon with my dad and discovered more new things! Fresh Start Organic now sells artisan piaya. One piece about 3 inches in diameter sells for Php8.00 and is absolutely divine. Unlike those commercial types that flake and crumble right after you open a bag, this one’s crust was just right—not crumbly and definitely not burnt! You can also...

Went to the Dungganon Market yesterday...
and though there was a considerable lack of tenants and concessionaires (I was thinking maybe like 50, but there were only 20?), I saw some unique and local products that I’m sure anyone would appreciate.  Watch out for them, I’ll be posting them real soon. :)
