I visited the Central Citywalk yesterday afternoon with my dad and discovered more new things!
Fresh Start Organic now sells artisan piaya. One piece about 3 inches in diameter sells for Php8.00 and is absolutely divine. Unlike those commercial types that flake and crumble right after you open a bag, this one’s crust was just right—not crumbly and definitely not burnt! You can also really taste the sesame seeds as compared to the mass-produced ones. And the filling! Don’t get me started on the filling! It’s chewy and sweet—just the right amount, not overly so.
One piece is enough to satisfy your cravings.. yet you’ll be coming back for more!
