The newest deli in town! The set-up is very chic. Before the dining area is a retail area of kitchen and dining ware as well as cooking ingredients not commonly found in your local supermarket. They also have a wide selection of wines, liquors and spirits.
For lunch, we chose another carb-filled meal—pizza and pasta! We ordered Meatlovers pizza, the toppings of which consisted of slices of salami, bacon and onion rings, then we tried their pasta carbonara. It was absolutely divine! The pizza’s crust was crispy thin, and although there were few toppings as compared to what I’m used to, it was just enough not to overwhelm the crust. I only wish though that they change the name of the pizza. As for the carbonara, the white sauce was done just right (some places make it like a soup!), this one made it just right to coat the pasta and the bacon was fried to perfection. What made it even more delicioso was the freshly grated pecorino cheese that melted as soon as we released the trapped heat of the pasta.
That lunch kept me sated even until dinner time! I’ll be sure to come back for more!
